Chemical Peels

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a chemical solution that is applied topically to your face, neck, or hands.  It smooths the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers of your skin. A chemical peel is one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of your skin. Sun exposure, acne, or just getting older can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred. A Chemical Peel can help improve:

  • Freckles
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Irregular skin pigmentation
  • Rough skin and scaly patches
  • Scars
  • Sun damaged skin

Chemical  peels can be done once a week to once every three weeks depending on  the peel to exfoliate the skin and improve skin texture. If you have  acne prone skin or hyper pigmentation you should commit to a package of  3-6 peels in order to get the acne in control or to improve the  discoloration. Depending on the skin condition, chemical peels can be  combined with microdermabrasion for best results! Once you have achieved  your goals, these chemical peels can be performed every 2 months to  maintain the results.
