Chemicals Peels

What are chemical peels?

A chemical peel is a chemical solution that is applied topically to your face, neck, or hands. It smooths the texture of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers of your skin. This service is one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of your skin. Sun exposure, acne, or just getting older can leave your skin tone uneven, wrinkled, spotted or scarred. A chemical peel can help improve:

  • Freckles
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Irregular skin pigmentation
  • Rough skin and scaly patches
  • Scars
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Acne

Chemical peels can be done once a week to once every three weeks depending on the peel you choose to do. If you have acne prone skin, hyperpigmentation or scars you should commit to a package of 3-6 peels in order to achieve the results that you want. Depending on the skin condition, a light level 1 or 2 chemical peel can be combined with a microdermabrasion that will give you double exfoliation. Once you have achieved your goals, these chemical peels can be performed every 2-3 months to maintain the results.
